Edward Holweg has, besides his current position, Director Product & Systems development AD, been appointed part-time professor Intelligent Automotive Systems at the Delft University of Technology .
His research will cover the next generation vehicle safety systems, based on force sensing wheel-bearings. Focus will be on multi-disciplinary research in the areas of integrated sensing, structural dynamics, vehicle dynamics control and human machine interface. The aim is to collaborate with international research groups and industry (OEM) in defined research projects, including topics such as global chassis control, force sensing and drive-by-wire.
Edward Holweg 在SKF的职位是“汽车部产品与系统开发总监” ，他同时也被代尔夫特理工大学聘为智能汽车系统方向的兼职教授。
